Purpose
Our studies show that strengthened affiliation between individuals and organizations directly increases productivity as people
move closer to their full potential, are more likely to stay with the organization and more likely to return should they leave. We
find that, on average, people are only operating at about 60% of their potential so there is much opportunity for improvement.
We offer a range of briefings, workshops and individual consultation that provide tools and resources to build affiliation and close
the gap between actual and potential performance.
Approach
The group sessions range from a one-hour briefing to a series of two-hour workshops or a full day workshop. They can be
tailored to the needs of senior management or first line supervisors and individual contributors.
For example, the four-hour workshop "Here Today, Here Tomorrow" provides a business rationale for focusing on this subject,
enables participants to take ownership of their own role, outlines leadership characteristics needed to build strong affiliation and
provides the basis for developing a path forward. It contains the following elements:
- Understanding the environment and issues
- Establishing affiliation as a unifying principle
- Building a business basis for committing resources
- Defining personal leadership implications
- Developing action plans to strengthen affiliation
This workshop is highly interactive and participants receive a comprehensive workbook.
Outcomes
Participants leave with the following:
-An action plan for enhancing workforce productivity
-Clarity about key leadership skills to develop
-How to address changing individual expectations
-A means to determine bottom line impact of investing in people
