Purpose
A barrier that often limits our ability to reach our potential is an inability to effectively communicate our potential value contribution. This affects our ability to move both within an organization and across organizations and it affects the productivity of our organizations. Whether due to reticence or under-developed communication skills, the result is similar - opportunities are lost and our contribution is constrained. This workshop provides the tools to overcome this barrier.

Approach
The foundation of this one day workshop is creating a portfolio of work life experiences and then a means to communicate these experiences. The workshop includes the following components:
- The examined life - charting our experiences and translating them into key competencies
- Maintaining an updated portfolio
- Communicating our capabilities in writing: resume, biography
- Communicating our capabilities verbally: interviewing
- Building action plans for the future

Participants also benefit from participating in the self-understanding and listening workshops.

Outcomes
Participants leave with the following:
-An action plan for enhancing workforce productivity
-Clarity about key leadership skills to develop
-How to address changing individual expectations
-A means to determine bottom line impact of investing in people
