Purpose
We spend much of our lives negotiating, sometimes explicitly, much of the time implicitly. The ability to negotiate successfully is a key survival skill in today's work world and a major contributor to organizational success. This workshop provides a basis for enhancing negotiating effectiveness.

Approach
This two-hour workshop equips participants with an understanding of the skills of successful negotiators, some of which may be surprising. For example, it answers the question is the poker faced negotiator the most effective? The workshop includes the following components:
-Framing the negotiation process: group exercise
-Understanding successful negotiators: eleven approaches of successful negotiators
Building a personal action plan: negotiating approaches to adopt in your life

Outcomes
-Ability to negotiate more effectively
-Understanding of successful negotiating practices
-Enhanced organizational effectiveness
