Purpose In a world where value creation is mainly about people, leaders must bridge from their functional knowledge to business acumen to strong interpersonal skills. Each domain presents significant challenges, particularly the interpersonal area. It requires complex skills for which there are limited role models for the emerging workforce, and on which there is limited emphasis in conventional business or technology education. Not surprisingly many of the factors limiting organizations from reaching their full potential are directly related to interpersonal leadership challenges. The workshops and individual coaching provide a safe environment for individual leaders to explore and develop their leadership capabilities. Approach A core one day workshop, which can also be delivered in two half-day sessions or a series of four two-hour modules, anchors the workforce leadership development process. It is complemented by a series of individual coaching sessions that focus on the practical application of leadership principles.
