Purpose

Given that conflict can arise in any situation where our concerns or wishes differ from someone else's, it is not surprising that we experience conflict routinely and frequently.  However, most people struggle with generating constructive outcomes from conflict, to their detriment and to the detriment of their organizations.  This workshop and individual coaching provide skills needed to deal effectively with conflict.

Approach

The half-day workshop, building on information from a conflict mode assessment instrument, includes the following components:

bulletThomas-Kilmann conflict mode instrument
bulletWhen to use different modes
bulletUnderstanding effective conflict resolution

Individual coaching around conflict resolution complements the workshop and can form the basis of a personal conflict skill building process.
