Purpose Self-understanding is now recognized as a key leadership competency. It influences our ability to make key decisions about ourselves, our organizations and those around us. As a result it influences our effectiveness in our work, the directions we take in our lives and our degree of fulfillment. This workshop, or series of individual sessions, provides a foundation for clear self awareness and enhanced effectiveness. Approach Building on core assessment instruments these sessions provide a safe environment for reflection leading to deepened self-awareness and personal action. The assessment instruments include computer based standardized instruments, structured instruments and those of a more conceptual nature. Some examples are as follows:
This self-understanding process is offered in a workshop format in four two-hour sessions for up to eight people, or for individuals in a similar series of sessions. The individual process of self-understanding can be enhanced by gathering feedback from others to provide an external perspective. This feedback utilizes a comprehensive, on-line, 360-degree assessment instrument. Outcomes As a result of this process participants are:
